Oneness: Here’s Why We Might All be the Same
If you’ve never believed in oneness or you’re not quite sure what the word ‘oneness’ means, consider these 3 dictionary definitions:
“The fact or state of being unified or whole, though comprised of two or more parts.”
“Identity or harmony with someone or something.”
“The fact or state of being one in number.”
Right now, people all over the world are experiencing some of the same things. These experiences are causing common concerns and questions to surface.
Have you had any of the thoughts below come to mind during the past month:
- Love, compassion or concern for those individuals and families who have been directly affected.
- Love and support for the people who are on the frontlines of this experience.
- Looking for ways to find your own emotional balance and support.
- A concern for your own health and the health of those we love.
- Questioning how the economy and your own finances will look when life moves forward again.
- Questioning the ways in which life will be different in the future. (Here’s what our ‘new normal‘ might look after the pandemic.)
- Questioning how you will feel and react when this experience is over.
I’ve had thoughts about every single item listed above and I doubt those thoughts will go away until the answers become known through actual experience of the answer.
Consider how someone in another country might have the same questions and concerns as you and I. Now as things fall away, that have separated us in the past, it becomes clear we are only one small part of the whole.
With these common issues and concerns, how does the concept of oneness feel now?
