Free Resources for Relaxation
Many companies and services are stepping up to help people find calm and comfort during this experience. A few of these free resources are:
- C.A.R.E Programming is providing free access to their mini and full length music and imagery meditations. It’s open to anyone needing to reduce stress, relieve anxiety or just enhance relaxation. Previously these meditations were only available to hospital patients. For access to the full length meditations be sure to use the free access code provided on their home page.
- Calm Blog has many free relaxation tools like meditations for children and sleep stories, calm music, soundscapes, yoga videos and other mindfulness resources to increase calm and provide comfort. There is also a Master Class offered by Elizabeth Gilbert.
- OverDrive.com is a free library resources that offers ebooks and audiobooks. If you already have an active public library card then you can visit OverDrive and connect your library card to their service.
- Libby is a free mobile app that provides access to ebooks, audiobooks and magazines by using your library card. Visit the Libby App for information on how to use this service.
- Free virtual museum tours of 12 museums around the world. New York’s Metropolitan Opera is also offering free virtual shows every night.

- StoryNory.com has a free listening experience specialized for children. They provide a way for families to be entertained as children deal with being isolated and away from school and friends.
